There are literally plethora of Internet service Provider in the market; ranging in different shapes and sizes to attract every customer’s need. How VoIP Can Save You On Long Distance

Posted by admin | General | Wednesday 15 October 2008 1:11 pm

Long distance phone calls don’t come cheap. This is the main reason why it’s very difficult to keep in touch with friends and families who are from far away places. Sad to say, the cost of making a long distance call can also put a strain in a long distance relationship. Sometimes you wonder what technology is doing to address this problem. If you’ve been paying attention, you would have heard of the wonders of the Voice over Internet Protocol, or more commonly known as VoIP. To the uninitiated, VoIP is the procedure that allows the transmission of voice through the Internet. Using VoIP phone systems digitizes the standard analog voice audio into data signals. This pretty much uses a similar process when you upload or download files on the Internet. Since voice communication is being done over the net, it is a requirement to have a high speed Internet connection. It’s important to remember that VoIP calls cannot be made using dial-up.

So, how does VoIP help you save on your long distance phone calls? The savings you’ll have will depend on what equipment you use. First, you can utilize VoIP by using an analog telephony adapter (ATA). This device will be used to replace your connection to a traditional phone company. It is connected to your computer and it can easily convert telephone analog signals into digital data, which allows you to communicate with another person. The second way of using VoIP is through computer-to-computer. As long as you have a computer with sound card, microphone, speakers (or headset), and a broadband connection, then you can easily make calls to a person with the same configuration for free.

Blogging tips

Posted by admin | General | Wednesday 10 September 2008 11:37 am

Here are some blogging tips that I’ve gathered though out my blogging days.

Keep the content of your blog posts short and to the point. Get to the meat of your post early. Remember, blog readers are spoilt for choice and have little patients for fluff-filled ramblings.

Visit other blogs in your target market and make helpful comments that add value. When you do this, always include your blog address. If others like what you have to say, they will be more inclined to click your link and checkout your blog.

Encourage your readers to leave a comment or suggestion. This can be best achieved if you make a somewhat controversial posting, which is sure to spark feedback from your readers. Also, you can find some very useful ideas for new postings this way.

Register your blog with an RSS feed aggregate service like FeedBurner. This will automatically notify numerous blog directories and subscribers each time you make a post.

Adding videos and pod casts will help increase the amount of time your readers spend on your blog. This will also help them notice other content that they may have otherwise missed.

SR&ED Tax Help

Posted by admin | General | Thursday 7 August 2008 9:55 am

My company had incurred losses especially when the rest of the capital I invested to cope up with the crisis did not paved well. I would continue losing money if I continue the operation of my company. I was growing desperate. I incurred indebtedness with the bank. I even mortgaged my house and all my cars. But fortunately, I sought out an advice from a friend which proved to be fruitful.

SR&ED tax credit basically helped me reduce my losses which I have invested in specific projects that my company has conducted just to cope up with the economic crisis. All those planning, acquisition of physical capital, research and reorganization was considered an SR&ED activity. Therefore, I was able to get most of the money back. The money which I reacquired amounting to roughly over a hundred million dollars was used to refinance the company’s operation

When it comes to SR&ED, I highly advise you to ask question in your local tax office on how to avail of this special incentive or you can simply hire an SR&ED consulting firm to make things easier for you so that you can focus on more pressing matters.
